Miss Betty Rutherford was presented an All Star Key award at recognition banquet held for Northern Virginia District at the Mimslyn Hotel, Wednesday night. The banquet was in honor of the 4-H club members wIiq were initiated into Virginia Chapter of All Stars this year and was given by sponsor of awards program Cities Service Oil Company (Pa.)
All stars selected before 1954 may secure the key if they are still active by contacting the extension office.
“All Stars” is an honorary organization composed of 4-H boys and girls outstanding in leadership, community activities and project work. Their motto is “service.” All Stars and parents attending from Rappahannock were: Lelia Gentry, Mrs. Barbara Gentry, - Mrs. Harry Rutherford, Miss* Betty Lou Rutherford, Miss Betty Blagg and E. M. Jones.
