Miss Joe Ellen Worth will arrive Wednesday evening for a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E B. Cary. She will return Friday accompanied by her mother, who will be present to hear her daughter sing in Constitution Hall with the National Presbyterian Church choir, Friday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Warren Cook and sons, Jimmy and Ted of Norfolk will arrive today to spend the holiday with their parents, Capt. and Mrs. J. P. Cook. Robert Cook of Front Royal will spend today at the home of his parents.
After the teachers’ meeting on Saturday, Mrs. A. M. Verner and Keith Brockmann motored to Winchester where they had dinner and attended the show “White Christmas.” .
Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones and family, Misses Rebecca and Segar Jones and Ned Moffett Jones were in Charlottesville Saturday for the game.
Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller and daughter, Miss Louise Strother Miller, Mrs. W. C. Campbell were in. Charlottesville on Saturday. After dinner Mr. Miller and Miss Miller attended the Va.N. C. football game while Mrs. Campbell and Mrs. Miller were shopping. ; Mr. and Mrs. John Paulson and family, John and Lynn Dudley arrived Wednesday to spend Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell.
