Pupils at R.C.H.S. got a cold welcome Monday morning, November 21. A water tank in the furnace room (not connected with the furnace, however) had flooded the room with three feet of water. The furnace isn’t the underwater type, so everyone went outside where it was warmer. By noon, the water was all pumped out and heat coming up again. (Someone suggested swimming lessons, but no instructor was available.)
The first basketball game will be held Friday night, December 3 at Tom’s Brook. Starting teams have not been announced as yet. Score keeper is Bernice Nethers, timekeeper, Becky Jones.
