Eleanor Atkins has-been selected 4-H’er of the month for December Eleanor is the daughter of Elmer Atkins in Flint Hill and has completed 11 projects in 4 years of club work. Her interest in project selection has been wide, completing 3 years of meal preparation, 2 years pf farm and home electric, ironing, food for* pep, room improvement, looking your best, and So You'd Like To Sew. This year Eleanor was selected as 2nd place winner in the Farm and Home electric project and was awarded the electric medak She is now serving as junior leader in this project and recently took part in the electric project planning meeting with Power Supply Representatives. V
Eleanor is active in extra-cur* rricula activities in school, being a member of the Glee Club, TeenAge Club, and is participating in the Christmas Play given by the F. H. A. Eleanor attends the Methodist Church being a member of the church choir. In summarizing how 4-H helps her, Eleanor said it helps her to “Make the Best Better.”
