Mr. Jon. Revercomb and Misses Erma and Gussie Revercomb of Peola Mills spent Tuesday at Mr. D. B. Burton’s, the latter leaving Wednesday" for a visit to Front Royal.
Mrs. J. Frank Jones has as her guests the following young ladies: Misses Fannie and Lois Moffett; Florence Whitescarver, and Mary Duncan of Salem; Maggie Moffett of Alabama and Miss Davis of Estes. ^
Mr. Cleveland Updike has purchased the stock of goods in the brick store formerly-downed by the late L. T. Partlow, and has opened for business. He will, in a short time, move his stock from the Jones store to his new place of business.
Mr. Jno. W. Clark has bought a fine new auto-truck and is,now carrying the mail in it between this place and Front Royal. The nail now arrives here about 5
