The audience was treated as they went out the door. All reported an enjoyable program and a memorable one. Mrs. E. M. Jones and Mrs. L. J. Turner decorated the church with arrangements of pine' trees and holly berries frosted with snow.__ "
The Christmas program in the First Baptist Church of Flint Hill was given Sunday night, December 19. It was truly a success. Rev. Profitt opened the program following the prelude with a word of welcome and prayer and then the audience joined in singing “O Come All Ye Faithful” and “Hark the Herald Angels Sing.” Little Susie Dodson thrilled the crowd fTy giving her decitation “I Look Into the Skies.” Cliff Latham followed with “A -Heart Full ' of Christmas.” “Merry 7Christmas^ Happy New Year”— was presented by Walter Krause and Johnny Moore.
The Junior Choir presented two specials accompanied by Mrs. Paul Nichols. Then recitations; “ Happy Christmas” by Jimmy Latham; “A Light For Jesus,” by Eddie Edmonds; and “A Happy Circle” by Charlotte Moore, Joan Hickerson, Roger and Bill Welch. Stanley Profitt followed with prayer. Richard Corbin gave an organ solo and Rev. Profitt read the Christmas story from the 2nd Chapter of Luke. The Junior Choir gave two more specials and David Corbin sang “The Star of Bethlehem,” accompanied by Richard. The audience then sang several carols and was dismissed by the pastor. There was a large crowd present and all reported an enjoyable time. Mrs. Paul Nichols, Mrs. O. W. Gilbert and the program committee were in charge. Mrs. O. W.
