Rappahan’k Chiefs To Open 1955 Season

In a recent organization meet* ing, the Rappahannock Chiefs elected Mahlon Ramey manager for the 1955 baseball season to open with their first game; on April 24th. ' The Chiefs have been named to the Shenandoah League, Manager Ramey has announced, remarking on the fine competition the Chiefs met last year, and commenting on their excellent standing, when the season dosed.
The Chiefs' plan, to buy oew suits this year, paying with them by virtue of advertising of various businesses printed on the suits. Eight business men have already asked for the use of suits for the advertisement of their establishments.
