Susie M. Settle
Mrs. Susie Mildred Settle, wife of Brue Settle of Castleton, died at her home Monday morning, following si lingering illness.'
Mrs. Settle, 51 years of age, was the daughter of the late- Mr. and Mrs. Ashby Settle of Rappahannock County. ^
Funeral services for Mrs. Settle were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the Geest Funeral >Home Chapel, with interment in the family section of the Fairview* Cemetery. The Rev. .Presley Pullen and the Rev. Edward Kite were the officiating ministers.
Mrs. Settle is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Guy Burke of Culpeper, Mrs. Davis Smoot of Culpeper; six sons, Billy and Gene, at home, John B., Castleton, James Mathews, Estes, Clarence Ashby and Cleveland Hilton of Alexandria; three brothers, A. P. Settle, Viewtown, Rob Settle, Cumberland, Md., and Beryle Settle of Winchester; and four grandchildren.
