the Washington H. D. Club Tuesday evening. Plans were made for achievement day. The demonstration was on Beauty in the Living Room. Mrs. Will Walter was hostess for Amissville H. D. Club on Wednesday. The club donated $10 for Fauquier Hospital equipment. The group planned a luncheon for May 20 at which time the drawing for the winner of an electric mixer will be selected. Demonstration was on Beauty ih the Living Room.

Mis. R. M. Johnson entertained Woodville H. D. Club Friday afternoon. Miss Catherine Orange gave a demonstration on making a hooked rug and the agent gave a talk on Beauty in the Living Room. Afterwards all enjoyed * birthday party for Miss Mattie* Rector and Mrs. Lily Barber.'

The Slate Mills Home Demonstration Club met with Mrs. Goldie Kennedy, Friday night. The members decided to improve their mailbox as a community project. Mrs. Rachael Boyd displayed a scrap book of all club activities. The members made definite plans for participating in H. D. Achievement Day.
