POLIO VACCINE — from p««.l authorities and physicians who have pledged their full cooperation.
The pplio vaccine will be furnished from a supply being purchased by the National Foundation with March of Dimes funds. It will be made available by the National Foundation without charge for the product to State Health Officers for use in the above groups, if licensed by the Federal Government. Supplies also will be distributed through usual channels at the same time.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown and son, Stevie of Leesburg were weekend guests of Mr. and Mn. J. Rodes Brown at Rock Villa. ■Mrs. M. W. Brown hss been notified by telephone that her son, A/2c Gerald M. Brown, who has been stationed with the Armed Forces in England for the past 18 months, has landed in Camp Kilmer, New Jersey. He is expected home this week.
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Thornton and son, Lee III, have mtoved from their apartment in the Snead house to their home in the country. On Sunday, callers at their home were Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones, Mrs. Frank Jones, Mrs. Brown Miller and Miss Lou Ann Miller.
Pfc. F. D. Coffey, Jr., returned to his post at Fort Story, Tuesday, after spending a furlough with Mrs. Coffey and son.
Mrs. George W. Brown accompanied Misses fibba and Beulah Hitt to Alexandria for the day on Friday.
