Could be that more of our herds should be lined up in. this program; doesn’t cost anything and some valuable findings are sure possible.
Dr. Tom is a North Carolinian by birth but had to come to Virginia to find his mate which, of course, is a feather in his cap. He and Christine are parents of three boys.
He attended Mars Hill College, in North Carolina, and received his B.S. from N. C. State. His graduate wor^ was done at Iowa State; N. C. State, and Oklahoma A. & M.
He was reared on a livestock and truck farm ip Buncombe County, N. C.; taught Vocational Agriculture in Claremont, and supervised courses for adults and rural youths under the National Defense Training Program. Served 42 months in. the Army. Is a Phi Kappa Phi, and came to* V. P. I. from Mississippi State. He is also an authority on dwarfism in cattle.
With all this good background for his present job one of the best is that he is a very likeable fellow. You’ll want to hear Tom and learn to know him better. You’ll have the chance March 28th when he comes to Rappahannock.
