Raymond Carpenter or winchester drove one car with his wife accompanying him, enroute to their home, from Charlottesville , where Mrs. Carpenter had been , hospitalized ‘ for several weeks. Harrison Myers of Flint Hill war going south when the accident occurred.
Mrs. Carpenter was taken by ambulance to the Warren Memorial Hospital and was latei1 transferred! to the Winchester Memorial Hospital for further treatment and observation. Carpenter suffered bruises and possibly injury to the right knee. Myers suffered lacerations of the face. Both automobiles were greatly damaged, in addition- The Washington Rescue Squad and the Front Royal Rescue • Squad were called to the scene of the accident. ..
Officer William A. Buntin "'investigated the accident. Myers is charged with reckless driving.

Charles Foster was elected manager of the Flint Hill Athletic Club for the coming baseball season in a meeting of interested players and persons, Friday night.
Other officers elected included Emory Russell, treasurer; M. H. Brady, score keeper; and Nelson Atkins and John Blaisdale, gate keepers. ; The Athletic Club plan to start their 1955 season the latter part of April, probably April 17th.
