- Amissville Volunteer Fire Com-, pany answered two calls last week. The first on Saturday night to the home of Mr. and Mrs. T.. C. Barron at Viewtown when fire from an undetermined cause was discovered in an upstairs bedroom. Flames were extinguished with a minimum of damage.

On Sunday a house at Rixey’ ville which was owned by Woody Sheads and occupied by Mr. ana Mrs. Paul Jenkins, was completely destroyed and all personal effects »and furniture burned. The fire was so far advanced when the fire company arrived all efforts were futile.
