WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors, at its meeting held on September 1, 1954, adopted a resolution requesting all interested citizens of the county to appear before the Board at a meeting to be held on October 6, 1954 to discuss ordinances regulating the time of sale of wine and beer in Rappahannock County, pursuant to Section 4-97 of. the Code of Virginia, and directed that said resolution be published in the Rappahannock News in the issues of September 16, 25 and 30, and WHEREAS, pursuant to said resolution and advertisement, a large

C. Campbell moved to discontinue the sale of wine and beer between the -hours of twelve o’clock post meridian of each Saturday and six o’clock ante meridian of each Monday. This motion failed for want of a second; Supervisor W. C. Campbell then moved to discontinue the sale of wine between the hours of twelve o’clock post meridian of each Saturday and six o'clock ante meridian of each _ Monday, effective at expiration of Licensee’s present license, this motion was dully seconded, and a recorded vote being taken thereon, a tie resulted; thereupon the Board instructed its Clerk to notify the number of citizens appeared
