Slate Mills W.M.S. Discuss Youth Work In June Meeting

Mrs. George W. Thoijphiil was hostess Monday night to the June meeting of the Slate Milk Bwtkt -W.M.S., with twelve members and four guests present. Mrs. L. R. Hudson gave the devotional.; The program, “Stop l Look I Lassen 1”, concerned youth work and the education of young people ih missionary activities and organizations. Those participating included Mrs. C. B. Dorsey, Mrs. George A. Nethers. Miss Lizzie Miller and Mrs. Robert J. Boyd. At the business session conducted by the president, Mrs. A. L. Weaver, plans were made to attend; the Annual WMU meeting Thursday at Mt. Carmel Church in Haywood. It was voted to contribute two bedspreads to the BaptistHome at this time, also to buy a basketball for the R. A. Chapter at the church. i
