Mr. and Mrs. ^Irving Sisk and daughter Mildred, Mrs. Mamie Wharton, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brown and family, and Mr. and Mrs. William Whar*on honored Mrs. "Bee” Wharton at a surprise shower Saturday evening, in the home of Mrs. Lennie Frazier in Fairfax. The honoree received many lovely gifts.
Mr. and Mrs. Issiah Burke and family, of Berryville, accompanied by Miss Mary Carper, also of Berryville, were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Jenkins and family. Mrs. Mary Burke and son, Eugene, were callers in the afternoon.
Mrs. H. J. Racer, accompanied by her son-in-law, Reid J. Biedler, motored to Washington, D. C. Sunday to spend several days with her family there. • Among those who were Sunday guests at a buffet luncheon in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wade i H.
