The first Saturday in February, fifth, this Bring and Buy Store will be held in the fire hall. Anyone wishing to give a book away, please bring them' on this date, or contact a member of the auxiliary. Also stop in and see the books in the library on Saturday, February 5.
Miss Ruby Jenkins forwarded the idea of a white elephant sale, since one has not been held lor some time. ■Mrs. Bruce Bowie suggested that the auxiliary; since they are an auxiliary to the fire company, make coffee for the firemen, when they are out on a call—at the fire whim it is a long call, arid in the fire hall, when it is a less serious fire. Mrs. Bowie was appointed chairman of the committee in charge of this. Mrs. Charles G. Reid and Mrs. Frank Moffett offered to help.
Two lovely old picture frames, given the auxiliary by Mrs. Moffett, were exhibited and plans were made for the chancing off of them. , '
Miss‘Ruby Jenkins reported on 'the Christmas carol records proj-' ect, saying that an anonymous donor had given the auxiliary an album of carols. A schedule, of members who ^ will operate ,the record player during Friday. Saturday and Sunday of the Christmas season: Mrs. Moffett, the Misses Jenkins, Mrs. Cox, Mrs. Bruce and Mrs. Bowie are on this committee.
