Burgess Earl Leake
Bur"*'* Ear! Leake, age 36, who had been in ill health for the past six months, died at his residence in Culpeper, Wednesday, January 11th.
M'. Lenke was a native of Rappahannock County, and the son of Mrs. Vinie Leake and the late, William Leake of Sperryville. He had been making his home in Culpeper for several years and was a truck operator. He is survived by , his wife, the former Miss Julia ■ Jenkins, of Rappahannock, and a daughter, Judith Ann Leake; his mother, Mrs. Vinie Leake, of Culpeper, and three brothers and five sisters: Woodrow Leake of Woodville, Raymond and William Leake of Culpeper. Mrs. Bertha Johnson of Capital Heights, Md., Mrs. Nora Hodges of Arnold, Md., Mrs. Rodie Jenkins of Sperryville, Mrs. Ruth Meade of Jeffersonton, and Mrs. Shirley May of Culpeper.
Funeral services were held Saturday, January 14th,* at' 2:00 o’clock from the Geest Funeral Chapel with the family pastor, Rev. Paul Thompson conducting
