Held Here Last Week
Mrs. Ellen Martin, Red Cross Field representative, and Mrs. Martin J. O’Connell, Volunteer Field Consultant, were here on Wednesday to meet with county worked: and help them make plans for md Cross work in Rappahannock.
Mrs. Harry Lee Smith, temporary chairman, presided and kindly consented to act as chairman until a permanent one can be secured.
Mrs. Martin emphasized the neei of a board of directors for the |Rappahonnock Chapter, and Mrs. Smith appointed a committee to find suitable persons to serve.
The committee members are: Mrs. H. L. .Smith, Mrs. D. D. Miller, Mrs. E. M. Jones, Mrs. G. W. Smith and Mrs. Magdalene Dearing.
