At Church
The Woman’* Society of Christian Service of the Washington Methodist Church met Wednesday evening at the Church with Mrs. Floyd Compton in charge of the program. The suject was: “Take My Life And Let It Be.” Assisting Mrs. Compton were: Mrs. Virginia Estes, Mrs. 3. Stan Weaver, Mrs. A. D. Goodson, and Mrs. Jessie Rowzie.
This was a pledge service and when the pledges were made each member placed her pledge on the needy side of the world instead of the side with plenty which were shown in the worship center.
The folowing questions were asked of the members;
What per cent of Church members attend Church regularly?
Are we as reverent as we should be?
Are there prayer groups within the Church membership?
How many members tithe?
59.4%
