Milton K. Brown, County Supervisor at Large of the Farmers Home Administration, spoke to the Youngj Fanner Class and Regional Agriculture Advisory Council of the Carver Regional High School at a recent meeting. Mr. Brown outlined the history1 and functioning of the FHA; the qualifications of one seeking a loan the different kinds of loans; and the method and terms of repaying.
The members present were high- . ly impressed with Mr. Brown’s lecture, for the points discussed were interesting, informative, educational, and will serve as a means of strengthening the public relations pragram between FHA and farmers m this area.
At this same meeting plans were discussed relative to the FourCounty Fair. The board decided, to hold the fair in early October. However, the exact date was left open pending certain prevailing '■ situatoins. The next meeting was tentatively set for Tuesday night, May 29th.
