To Travel Abroad
Mrs. Pearl Halderman Stickley was in town for a short time Wednesday to see friends.
Mrs. Stickley, who was a member of J.he Washington High School faculty for several years, and has many friends in the county, was «t route to Goochland from her home in Winchester, where she has been to make accessary arrangements—securing passport — etc., incident to a trip abroad.
Mrs. ^Stickley will visit the Holy Land, countries in the Middle East Egypt find several Arab States.
CHICKEN AND HAM DINNER AT FLINT HILL
A chicken and ham dinner will be givefi on Saturday, May 26th, from 5;30 p.m. until 8.00 p.m'. at the Flint Hill Fire House. The dinner Ifvill be for the benefit of the Ladies Auxiiary of the Flint Hill Firp Department.
