Amissville Fire Aux. Elects Officers
The Auxiliary of the Amissville V. F. D. held its monthly meeting Tuesday July 10 at 8:00 P. M. in the Fire Hall with a good attendance.
Officers elected for the coming year are Mrs. Richie Colvin, president. Mrs. Charlie Compton, vicepresident, Mrs. Sarah Latham, secretary, Mrs. A. C. Latham, treasurer and Mrs. Charlie Smith devotional leader.
Further plans were made to help with the Firemen’s Carnival which will be held August 23-24and 25.
Mrs. Gilbert Laurence will be in charge of the Queen s Contest. Mrs. A. C. Latham of the Food’ stand and Mrs. Ralph Rowzie of the Bake and Handwork stand.
