LAY LEADERS TO CONDUCT SERVICES IN METHODIST CHURCHES
Mr. B. B. Kent, District Ley Leader of the Charlottesville District, Batesville Church, will be the preacher Sunday, July 22 at Willis Chapel. Services will begin at 10 a.m.
At 11 a-m. Mr. Kent will conduct services at ' the Flint Hill Methodist Church.
Sunday evening at 8:00 p.m., Mr. Paul Miller, lay leader from Flint Hill, will conduct the services at Sperryville Methodist Church. >•
Bromfield Parish
Approves Plans
For Parish Hoose
At a meeting held in Trinity Church on; July 15, the congregation of Bromfield Parish voted unanimously to approve final plans for the contraction of a Parish House to he attached to Tripity Church.
The contractor is Mr. Chas. W. Hawkins and it is expected that work will begin about the 15 th of August. When completed the Parish House will have six classrooms and a chapel in a half-basement; on the first floor there will be a large assembly room, kitchen, ana two lavatories.
A building fund campaign, with Mr. James Yates as chairman, is now underway and first responses have been most encouraging.
