The Rapppahannock Board of Supervisors voted to limit to three the number of member? on the local Board of Public Welfare.
The 1956 General Assembly raised the number to five (5), as a five member board wmild give wider representation and greater flexibility to welfare work, but allowed local governing bodies, by resolution, to retain the present three member board.
Members are: Mrs. G, E. Johnson, chairman, The Rev. John R. Frizzell, vice-chairman and .A.. C. Latham, Sr.
