Chester Gap Scoots
Camp Out in Park The Chester Gap Troop No. 125 of Boy Scouts of America went on an oovemight Outing on Friday, August 3, 1956, accompanied by their Scoutmaster, Mr. Gilbert Smith. Most of the Scouts participated.
The group left the home of the Scoutmaster at 3:20 p.m. and went by truck, to the Boundary Line to the National Park, then hiked to Big Indian Shelter and spent the night. Various games were played and each scout did his own cooking under the supervision of the Patrol Leaders. They left camp about 7:30 a.m. Aug. 4 and returned home. A good time was had by all.
