Mrs. Raymond Rector, of Conde, was shiest of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Rector Saturday. Mr. James Nelson, of Richmond, also visited the Rectors during the weekend.
The Flint Hill Homemakers Club held their annual picnic at Dickey Ridge Friday evening, with about 40 people present. Members and their families, girls taking 4-H summer projects and their Toothers were invited. Jean Lillard, Elinor Atkins and Doris Atkins helped to prepare the" barbecued hamburgers and all other 4-H members prepared one dish or baked cookies for the supper.
Girls who took summer jprojects were: Paula Miller, Jr. leader, Judy Latham, Judy Lillard, Ginger Russell, Joan Hickerson and Dorothy Moore.
