Mrs. B. R. Cox and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. were joint hostesses at a picnic supper on August 8th at Lake Manahoac Boat House honoring Lt. Comdr. and Mrs. James Van L. DeBergh of Charleston, South Corolina.

Methodist Sunday
School Picnic planned
The Flint Hill Methodist Church will have its annual picnic Saturday. afternoon August 18th at Woodland Park, Luray. The truck will leave the Methodist Chyrch at 12:30 on Saturday. Those who prefer to go in cars may meet there and all go along together. Supper is planned for 5:00 P. M.
