The Wasnirigton Vot. Fite Company’s C^rnval held here on Thursday, Friday and Saturday was very wel attended on Saturday evening. -The attendance on Thursday an|d Friday was fair. As all bills ar- not yet in, a financial statement cannot be ’made until next wefk. but it is thought that they did IVery well.

The parade was considered very good. Fire Companies taking part were Marshall. Strasburg, The Plains. Falls Church, Castleton, Annandale, Elkton, Culpeper, Woodstock, A tnfcsville, Madison, Sperryville, FI nt .Hill and Shenandoah.
