Square Dance Slated
By Rescue Squad
The Washington Rescue Squad is sponsoring a Square Dance at the Washington Auditorium on Friday August 31st.
Vance Butler and his Band will furnish the music. If you attended the Squad’s dance last year we are certain you will be on hand on the 31st. If you were unfortunate and didn’t get to the last one, don’t miss this one.
The “Kiddie Corvette” will be given away and you may have the3 lucky number.
$1.00 per person. Food, cold drinks and coffee will be for sale.
DEDICATION SERVICES
The recently organized Church of the Brethem at Smedley will ’ be dedicated on Sunday Sept. 2. with an all-day service and dinner on the grounds.
Taking part in the services will be Brother O. R. Herch of Manassas, Brother Nollie of Noakesville and others.
The small congregation are delighted that there is no debt on their church. Friends are invited to the services which will begin at 11:00 A. M.
