from Oakley and Sperryville churches was presented to the re* tiring pastor by C. E. Johnson Jr. and A. W. Yowell presneted the gift for F. T. church. The ladies served punch, cake , nuts and mints and a period of fellowship followed.
The Methodist Youth Fellowship Societies of the Flint Hill, Washington and Sperryville had A picnic at Shulers on the Shenandoah River Monday afternoon.
Col. and Mrs. Roy L. Reeve entertained at a picnic and swimming party at Woodland Park on Sunday honoring the birthday anniversaries of their two daughters, Patricia and Dorothy Reeve. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Roy M. Reeve, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse B. Reeve, their son, Lynn of Arlington, Edna Yates Schaefer, Tish Davis, Lillian and Roy Reeve Jr.
Elder J. T. Mousees and P. Byrd of Atlanta and Augusta. Ga. will be guests this week of Elder and Mrs. J. H. Daly and Elder Mousees will speak at the Robinson River church Thursday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. George Hawkins and son, Phil went to Washington, D. G. on Saturday, to accompany their daughter, Judy Hawkins who. is spending this week with her aunt Mrs. Wiilliam Gossert and other relatives.
