Mr. Boyd brings to his enaeavors a wealth of experience in working with young people. As a youth, he was state president of the High School YMCA and state president of the Methodist Youth Fellowship. At Willjam and Mary, he was president of Kappa Sigma Fraternity, chancellor of the Wythe Law Club, and a member of Tau Kappa Alpha honorary forensic fraternity.
Mr. Boyd is a partner in the law firm of Davis and Boyd, a member of Kiwanis International and the Sons of the American Revolution, and is a Shriner. He is superintendent of the Church School of Park Place Methodist Church and a member of the official board of the church. He holds membership in the American. Virginia and Norfolk and Portsmouth bar associations.
