Of Washington Hold First Meeting

TV Washington Town Council held it's first meeting of 1957 Monday evening at the Rappahannock County Clerk s office.

Present, Miss Ruby Jenldnjt, who presided in the absence ^)f the mayor, and Mrs. J. W. Cr»tzer, Mrs. A. M. Verner, andMiis. Morgan Johnston, and Mrs. BR. Cox.

Routine business was attended to. Along with the usual montply bills was one for $499.54 for permanent improvements to the Fire House. An inside stairway and a cement w'alk with rail, leajding from the street to the rear door of the Fire House.
