The overall drop in Chicago since January 10 was $$1; the overall average drop on our sales, 60c.
VEAL
From now on, it’ll be generally downward for veal prices as supplies get heavier. Virginia auctions averaged $27.50 for all grades last week—off 55c from die preceding week.
So selling as your vealers are ready is about as good as you can plan. And consider selling mixed calves for veal now as against holding. (
