up, and Three Dollars ($3.00) for each motorcycle. The licenses shall be purchased from the office of the Treasurer of the County.
3. The revenue derived from all County motor vehicles licenses under this law shall be applied to general county purposes.
4. No such license «halj be required by the County upon vehicles owned by persons who ere residents of an incorperated town, in the event that the said town imposes such a license or similar tax or levy upon vehicles of residents thereof.
5. This resolution is subject to the limitations on ohe imposition of such licenses by the County as is set forth in Section 46-65 of the Code of Virginia of 1950. as amended.
6. The period which the said license shall cover shall be from the 16th day of April, 1957 thrd the 14th day of April, 1958.
7. In the event that any person shall make application for any such license, as hereinabove described, for any license year, subsequent to the 15th day of October, then the cost thereof shall be one-half of the initial cost thereof.
8. In the event that any license 1 plate issued under the provisions hereof shall be lost or mutilated, or shall become illegible, the verson who is entitled thereto shall make immediate application for and obtain a duplicate or substitute therefor, upon furnishing information of such fact satisfactory to tiie Treasurer of the County ana Upon the payment of a fee of Fifty Cents (50c), to the said Treasurer, or other agent of the Board appointed for the purpose.
0. The said license shall not be transferrable as between persons or vehicles.
10. Upon the application to the Treasurer of the County, or other agent of the Board appointed for the purpose, for said license, upon forms provided therefor, and the ‘payment of the cost thereof as herein provided to the Treasurer, or such agent, the Treasurer, or such agents shall issue a license plate and the vehicles for which this license is procured shall have exhibited thereon, in the front or rear thereof, and attached thereto, the said license plate, in sueh a manner as the same shall be plainly visible to the general public.
11. There shall be exempt from the operation and requirements of this ordinance all vehicles exempted from the imposition of state, county, city and town ordinances under the provisions of Article 1. ' Chapter 8 of the-Code of Virginia Of 1960, as amended.
