The trout season, which will rpen in the mountains of Virginia ,->t 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 13. is an experiment, according to Hob Martin, fish biologist of the Commission of CJame and Inland Fisheries and assistant chief of the fish division. The Commission a(jreed last fall to set up an earlier season whiph would open Saturday to determine whether this day of the week and an earlier season would be more satisfactory to the fishing public. “Close observations will be made,” said Martin, “to determine how satisfactory such an early season will prove to be.”
