The Jamestown Festival Committee has asked the Board of Supervisors of each County in Virginia to appoint a Conunittee to work out plans for ts County so that they may join in this celegration. This summer Virginia is to be “Host to the Nation.”
The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors has appointed Mrs. George Davis, Mrs. B. M. Miller and Mrs. John R. Frizzell, Jr., as members of this planning committee. They are very enthusiastic and are getting plans well under way for a most interesting summer. Some of the Committees have already met and gotten started on their projects. Others will meet later to work out their plans.
The main object of this celebration is to acquaint the residents of Virginia and am interested visitors with the actual tacts of Virginia History. All documents and other objects must he authentic. If you have any old documents or any other objects that you think might be of interest
