Beauty Contest
The Ladies Auxiliary of the Washington Vol. Fire Co. will sponsor a beauty contest on June 28th at the Rappahannock High School. It is the goal of the ladies to have as sponsors every business in Rappahannock County. The fee to sponsor a contestant is $1.00.

Three County
Project^ “Paid Off”
It is nice to report that three county projects last week "paid off.”
The Home Demonstration Clubs reported that $118 was taken in on Thursday, May 30 at their first County Market.
Costume Ball chairman Bob Estes reported $151 cleared on Friday evening, May 31 and base ball fans were pleased when they took in $55 at the gate of the Shenandoah-Rappahannock Chiefs ball game.
