James H. Filling
Graveside funeral services were held on Saturday, June 1 in the Woodville Cemetery at 2 p.m. for James Hill Filling, who died May 30 in Roanoke, Va. The Rev. George Bowman. Ill conducted the services.
Mr. Filling was born December 24. 1877 in Brigton, Missouri, the son of George Filling of Missouri and (jinny Hill, his wife, who was born in Rappahannock Co.. Va.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie J. Filling and one son. James H. Filling. Jr.
The active pallbearers were Raymond Johnson, William \ ancey, Gordon Wavland, Henry Wood, H. B. Wood, Jr.. C. B. Johnson. Honorary’ pallbearers were Earl Jenkins, R* G. Quamtance, Jr. and Dr. R. W. Quaintance, Sr.
