News has been received in Sperrvvillt of, the death of Mrs., Ell t Heiston Hopkins, widow of the hire John W. Hopkins, which occurred on Saturday afternoon with broncial pneumonia, following 1«iut period of ill health.
Mrs. Hopkins was 99 years oh and had resided with her daugh ters. Misses Annie and Mabe Hopkins in Washington, D. C. fo ■ a number of years.
Besides the two daughters. sh< is survived by two sons. Omar anc Oakley Hopkins. Graveside services were held Tuesday at 12:3C o'clock in the family section of thf Sperryville Cemetery* with RevLedford C. Vaughn, pastor of Little For]: Charge, conducting he last rites.
