The shorn word payment rate was determined oni the basic of the difference between the average price received bv producers for shorn wool during the 1056 marketing year and the 62-oent per pounds incentive level. The average price producers received for shorn wpol dujring the 1056 marketing year was 44.3' cents per pound as determined by the Agricultural Marketing Service on the basic of prices! reported by producers in their applications for e’we.
