•U. S. Forces, Germany—Army Sergeant First Class Staley H. Ficklin, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Ficklin, Amissvillc, Va., is a member of the Military Assistance Advisory Group in Germany.
Ficklin entered the Army in January 1946.
The sergeant is a 1945 graduate of Berryvillc High School.
Mrs. Lillie Hughes had as her guest on Sunday, her brother, Mr. James Venie of Braddock, Pa.
P. S- Green, who was operated on July 51st at University Hospital. Charlottesville, is getting along nicely and expects to be home before “too long.*'

Masters Eddie and Jr. Coaxum have returned to their home in N. Y. after a month’s visit with their uncle and aunt. Mr. and Mrs. < Jack Freeman. They were accom, panied back to N. Y. by their parents. Mr. and Mrs. William Coaxum after a short visit in Cleveland, Ohio and Washington, Va„ -where they spent a few days with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Hunter.
Miss Willia Hunter of Washington D. C. spent last Thursday thru Tuesday with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Hunter.
