FHnt Hill Fire Company answered a call to the home of William Gentry. A trash fire was soon under control. No damage.
The Amissville Fire Company was called twice during the past week. On Thursday, to the farm of General Daniel Noce where they rendered great aid (details elsewhere in the News), and on Sunday to the home of Clarence Cook of Viewtown when a hen house caught fire. They were unable to save it, but prevented the « fire from spreading to the big house.
The Washington Rescue Squad was called Thursday to the Snead farm in Gid Brown Hollow when
cham was operating turned over and caught him under. •'
Mr. Fincham ,was taken to Warren Memorial'’Hospital.
The Castleton Fire Company was called Thursday to the farm of Gen. Noce and rendered a great service in preventing a forest fire. the farm tractor
