Prices ranged from 26c to a high of 60c paid for an individual steer from the champion pen-of-five in the show.. - There was no significant difference in prices between. breeds in the same grade and weight spread. There Was only % * %c *Prca<1 in prices between fancy and choice grades and good grade of steers In several cases good grade heifers, brought mord than fancy and choice heifers. Steer calves grading 'medium were 4-5c cheaper than the better (grades, while medium heifers brought mostly 2-3c less per pound, i S, In general pricef- were as follows: AA & A steers - 30% to 40c, mostly 36%c; good steers * 30% to 38 %c, mostly £>%c; medium steers!*- 28% to 33%c, mostly 30%c. AA Sc A heifers - 27% to 34c, mostly 32 %c; good heifers 25% trij 32%c, mostly 31c. medium heifers 26 "to 32c, mostly 28%c.
