Many answers can bc given 6 this question. It means differeit things* to different people. To some it means building huge dams to plant breeders it could be s rarching for ' new plants and trees to control wind erosion To a farmer it may mean plowing on the contour instead of up and down hill, seeding J, grass waterways, improving pastures or draining wet land. To some it means food and caver for wildlife or trees and good forestry management. Conservation to the f gardincr and flower g ower means rich soil made loose and loamy with organic matter.

Most everyone will ell you they ’believe in conservation, but! give it very little thought because It doesn’t concern their daily life, lIThis is a wrong conceit Everyone who sleeps between clean sheets, eats a square meal or fakes a drink of clean water should be djeeply concerned with where thes^ life giving blessings come From.
