Indications ate that hog prices atie dose to the Seasonal bottom now. They may fluctuate from week to week in response to receipts but any furtrher general decline will likely be small.
In Richmond, buyers were pay-, ing $20.50 to $20.75, mostly $20. 50. This was 50 to 75 cents higher for the week. Top hogs in the Virginia auctions were 25 cents higher and averaged $20.95. The papular price for top weight harrows and gilts in the auctions ranged from $20 to $21.50. The Chicago market was $19. 25 to $$19.75; this was unchanged compared with last week at the same time. The Indianapolis market was 25 cents higher and most of the No. 1-3 grades sold from $19.25 to $19.75. In Baltimore, the top was $20.75 to $21 00.
