T$»e Front Royal Exchange of the Virginia Telephone ancp Telegraph Company will begin dial operation on October 19, 1958 at/2:01 A. M.
All Washington Virginia subscribers who wish to report! a telephone out of order after that date will dial the digits“14” during business hours. and after business hours and on Sundays or holidays dial oper-* ator. For assistance in dialing or for information or long distance, dial“0'’ (Operator)
Subscribers who may dial a number not connected or a number that has been changed will hear a recorded announceipept, requesting the subscriber to check the directory Or call, the Operator for assistance.
New Telephone Directories have been majlecpto all subscribers and will become effective on October < 19, 1958. Subscribers who have not received a directory should call the business office at Front Royal, and a directory will be mailed to you.
Long Distance circuits to Front Royal will be changed With this conversion and Washington, Va. subscribers will reach the Leesburg Operator after 2 :ftl Jl. M. October 19, 1958, for all long distance calls, information or dialing assistance.
