The Perfect Date
Some girlk think that for a boy to be a perfect date he must be extremely good looking. Really this isn’t near the top of my list of qualifications. One thing that, really coGnts is, his menrers. He must have nice manners, but not be Sickeningly. polite A boy can be too polite, but the perfect dat^ isn’t. When he calls for me, he must go in and speak to my family! and make some small talk with them. Therefore he is liked by adults and young people alike. In the adult department he must by all means be liked by my family. . 1
He' usually wears a suit with a tie or sport' coat but always a tie except for a very casual affair. He is neat and clean at all times. His personal appearance makes a big impression on all the people who see us together,
He must have a charming personality, and good sense of humor. He must not be conceited! Conceited boys are a horrible bore, (So an: conceited girls.) '
My perfect date is ambitious and has a definite goal to work toward. He desires or is striving for 'a college degree. Obviously he is reasonably i teiligent. ; If he is- athletic it helps but is not essential. He has a good background but is not a snob. He appreciates the really good thing? in .life. . . (,’
Mr. Wonderful should be sincere, not the mushy type or the boy with a line a mile long.
Last) but very important my Dream Man likes me. If he is perfect I will like him. That is my idea of a perfect date. There •is one an a million! . ;
