The spring clothes in the stores in Front Royal and Culpeper are beautiful. No matter how cold it it- cut: de, when you see all the b.ight colors of the dresves, it makes you feel warm and what a good humor it puts you in to go home with a nice dress box under year arm.
Guy Lillard and Skipper Giles left Saturday night for the sunny skies of Florida. Rappahannock is well represented there, Hope Jack, Wade, Watts, Guy, Skipper and ■ the Critzers meet. Wouldn’t they have a “blast”?
Two men were killed in our county Friday night. Again too much speed.

Theatre Transformed
Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Armel are now in the process of converting the Washington Theatre in'o ti c .•’.partments, one which will be er.dv for occupancy by the first of March. The theatre closed last rummer and was put up for sale at public auction in January, but was not sold. The building already contains one apartment and the others are being added.
