Last Rites For
Mrs. Katie Coughlin
Mrs. Katie Elizabeth Coughlin, wife of Daniel Oscar Coughlin of Woodville, died Thursday, February 5th, at her residence following a long period of declining health.
Deceased 82 years of age was the daughter of the late George VV. Settle and Mrs. Mecie Soul Settle of Loudoun County Virginia.
Besides her husband, she ia survived by three daughters, Mrs, Mecie Thornhill of Washington, D. C. Mrs. Robert Jenkins of Culpeper, Va. and Mrs. Russell Guinn of Culpeper. Two sons, Elmer Coughlin of Washington, D. C. and Oscar Coughlin of Woodville, Va.; also four grandcrildcen and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. from, the Geest Funeral Home chapel, with interment in the family section of the Fairview Cemetery. Reverend John Adams conducted •the last rites.
Active pallbearers were Roy Settle, Lewis Settle. Oscar Sherman, Woodrow Coughlin, Robert Settle, Dyke Quaintance, Paul Coughlin and Mike German.
Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Scudere who have been spending some time in Philadelphia, returned Friday to their home here.
Mr. and Mrs. Reid Biedler of Washington, D. C. were overnight guests Sunday of Mr. ra^d Mrs. Hugh J. Racer.
